Great place for djs to get fresh vinyl, you or I to pick up tickets for upcoming shows. Perfect spot down near Gastown and the familiarity of an independent business that kicks some obscure and limited release albums butt. Scratch has its own label and pretty extensive web pages to go with.

This is THE place to walk in and trade those paper or hardbacks that are collecting a layer of dust and regenerate with new material. There are new books here too and at a better price than you may have expected…Check it out.

Oscars Art Book Store is one of the best locations for a bookstore in Vancouver. It has witnessed urban change full force here just off the corner of Granville and Broadway and survived like a beacon. A very dedicated returning clientele and those new just waiting for the next bus and discovering this green pasture of art books from architecture to painting instruction plus calendars and journals. Affable and engaging staff.

This place is just so fulfilling…the eccentric wonderland of books upon books. Rare and out of date publications can be found in stacks of an unbelievable spectrum of topics. Do not fear, there is help. A must go.

This is a definitive magazine store…lots of foreign magazines for the lingual traveler, art mags, gossip rags and all those in between. It is fairly cavernous and you may end up running late.
